Farhad Mehrad (January 20, 1944 - August 31, 2002), widely known in Iran as Farhad, was an Iranian pop, rock and folk singer, songwriter, guitaristand pianist, who released the first English rock and roll album. He rose to prominence among Iranian rock folk and pop musicians before the Iranian Revolution, but after the revolution, he was banned from singing for several years. His first concert after the Iranian Revolution was held in 1993. To this day, he is considered as one of the most influential and respected contemporary Iranian artists of all time..
HAJ GHORBAN SOLEIMANI


Soleimani was born in 1920 to Turkish parents in Aliabad  village in the northern part of Qouchan in northeastern Iran. His father, Karbalaii Ramezan, an accomplished musician taught him the dotar from a young age. Following his father's death he continued learning the dotar and sought singing lessons from singers such as Avaz Bakhshi, Gholamhossein Bakhshi Jafarabadi and Mohammad Qeitaqi.
